In our fast-paced world, where moments come and go, family portraits provide an opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate with the people we love most. They serve as a reminder to appreciate the fleeting moments, the first tooth, the giggles, the hugs, and the shared experiences that shape our family dynamics. Family portraits freeze those authentic interactions, allowing us to relive the joy, tenderness, and connection whenever we look back upon them. They become a visual narrative of our journey, capturing the growth, milestones, and the unique personalities of each family member.
Family portraits can take place either in my cozy studio or on location at sunset. Throughout the session, my aim is to ensure you all feel completely at ease, providing gentle guidance so that you never feel awkward. I encourage you to play with your kiddies, be silly, splash in the water, twirl, and engage in the activities that often unfold behind closed doors. This allows the genuine essence of your family's love and connection to shine through in every photograph.
The session fee is $200 and image collections begin at $750. All collections include high-resolution digital files and 6x4" prints.

• How long does the session take?
Your Family session will take anywhere between 45-90 minutes. This can depend on how many children are in your family and also on the location.
One thing we cannot control is the weather. If your shoot day is looking like rain then we will reschedule with a new date or we can change to a studio session.

You have the option to have your family session in studio or at an outdoor location at sunset. The studio is great for smaller families, 1 or 2 children, Winter, when the weather is cold and wet and for photographing at any time of day. For bigger families, or active toddlers, I would recommend an outdoor location. I have a list of locations I will send you once you have confirmed your booking.
I get this question a lot! Outdoor family sessions are ideal over the Spring or Autumn months. This is because the sun sets at a much earlier time in the day. I recommend to push out naps, a big dinner, warm clothing, snacks and their favourite cuddly. Plus a fun photographer helps 😉
